We are increasingly seeing both coinvestment activity and secondary purchases of equity become part of investors' strategies.
As well as advising on the establishment of, and investments in, new funds, we also advise buyers and sellers of fund interests in the secondary market. We act on individual asset trades and large, complex portfolio deals.
Coinvestments are typically structured through an investment vehicle that invests in parallel with the main fund. We have advised both managers and investors in relation to a number of coinvestment funds across a range of asset classes.
