Carlos is an associate in the Banking & Finance team in the firm's Madrid office and a member of the Financial Institutions Group.
He advises a wide range of financial institutions, including banks, payment and e-money institutions as well as investment firms, both local and international, on complex corporate and regulatory matters. His area of expertise includes regulated financial entities' licensing procedures, structuring of cross-border schemes, M&A in the financial sector, financial products design and marketing, consumer law, securities regulations and anti-money laundering rules. Carlos also provides finance-related advice to FinTech and retail clients on a regular basis.
