Greg Langsdale is a partner in Cadwalader’s Global Litigation Group. He represent clients in complex commercial litigation and arbitration concerning a broad range of issues including contract disputes, business torts, theft of trade secrets, dealer terminations, and antitrust claims. Over the past twenty years he has litigated matters in federal and state courts across the country as well as in International Chamber of Commerce and AAA arbitrations. He is a trusted advisor regarding supplier-distributor relationships, complex commercial disputes, state franchise laws, and alcohol beverage control regulations. Greg was included in the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Antitrust & Competition Lawyers and was named a "Rising Star" in Washington, DC, by Super Lawyers magazine.
Greg is dedicated to providing counsel pro bono and has successfully represented clients in immigration court, DC Superior Court, and before the DC Office of Police Complaints. He is also a member of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, which focuses on empowering our communities.
A graduate of Wake Forest University, cum laude, Greg earned his J.D., with honors, from the George Washington University Law School, where he served as Notes Editor on The George Washington Law Review.
Following law school, Greg served as a clerk for the Honorable James F. McClure, Jr., United States District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Dismissal on the pleadings of all antitrust claims brought by a wholesaler against supplier, including claims for per se antitrust violations, monopolization, attempted monopolization, and unlawful exclusive dealing; summary judgment granted in supplier's favor on remaining claims and counterclaims and monetary judgment entered in favor of supplier on counterclaims. Secured preliminary injunction on behalf of minority owner against majority owner based on breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract; successfully moved to dismiss majority owner's claims. (W.D. Wash.)
Twice defeated motion for class certification in putative class action brought by California retailers against a major brewer and an independent wholesaler alleging price discrimination. (California state court)
Represented nation's largest dairy cooperative on claims related to allegations of manipulation of spot cheese market and milk futures contracts. (Missouri state court)
Jury verdict in favor of brewer and the independent wholesalers of its products in case brought by terminated wholesalers. (D.N.J.)
Intervened to protect exclusive multi-year sponsorship agreement with a professional sports team; competitor's counterclaim dismissed on summary judgment. (Massachusetts state court)
Successfully defended major brewer in theft of trade secret claim and breach of contract matter. (S.D.N.Y., E.D. Mo., and Missouri state court)
Represented malt beverage supplier in regulatory proceedings and related state court lawsuit regarding dispute over state issuance of alcohol beverage license. (Kentucky state court)
S ummary judgment for beverage can producer in contract dispute relating to the purchase of aluminum can sheet. (N.D. Ohio)
