Sara Marinoni’s practice is centered on regulatory matters relating to data, privacy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and digital regulations. Sara helps clients from across industry sectors, including consumer, tech and financial services, develop new technologies and business strategies in an evolving regulatory landscape.

Sara regularly advises clients with a global presence in all regulatory and contractual matters relating to privacy and data protection, including multi-jurisdictional GDPR compliance programs, international data transfers, e-privacy and data subject rights. 

Sara also advises on complex cybersecurity and digital regulation matters, including compliance with NIS2, the Data Act and the EHDS, as well as cyber-preparedness and incident response programs. She also provides assistance to clients with artificial intelligence projects, including providing AI Act applicability assessments, gap analysis and AI governance advice.

Assisted a major consumer brand with their response to a global data incident including regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions both within and outside the EU. 

Strategic advice to a global technology firm on the applicability and enforcement of NIS2.  

Assisted a multinational financial services organisation with the development of an artificial intelligence governance framework.

Assisted a global technology company with the development of a cyber-preparedness program. 

Advised various healthcare and life sciences clients in connection with GDPR compliance programs and clinical trials. 

Strategic advice on compliance requirements under the EU AI Act for an online marketplace.

Advised a multi-national technology firm on the applicability of and compliance with new European digital regulation.
