Oliver heads up the UK Real Estate practice and deals with a broad range of UK real estate matters.

These include occupier requirements, development and regeneration, investment, and advising on the real estate elements of distressed debt. Oliver acts for many market leading clients including British Land, the BBC, Argent Related, Eli Lilly, Pontegadea, Coal Pensions and M&G Real Estate. These clients are involved in some of the highest value and most complex transactions in UK real estate. Oliver assists them in achieving their ambitious real estate goals.

Representative experience

Acting for the BBC on the structured disposal and leaseback of its 17-acre Media Village site in London to a consortium led by Stanhope plc.

Advising Argent and Related on their proposed mixed use joint venture with London Borough of Barnet to redevelop a 373-acre brownfield site including 7,500 homes.

Advising various administrators on the management and disposal of real estate assets.

Advising TH Real Estate's UK Property Fund on the town centre redevelopments at Bishop's Stortford and Winchester.

Acting for the London Legacy Development Corporation on the proposed re-generation of Hackney Wick and the disposal of Sugar House Lane for mixed use development.

Acting for M&G Real Estate on the disposal of office investments in the West End for approximately £100m and West London for approximately £60m.

Advising the BBC on the 'smart value' structured disposal of Television Centre, White City, London.
Advising Lloyds Banking Group in respect of its security over various portfolios.

Acting for Russell & Bromley on the management, acquisition and disposal of all of its UK property portfolio.

Acting for a local authority on the redevelopment of its south east town centre.
