When technology and law meet, Rik plays a big role. Rik helps clients in various industries and technological fields in their patent disputes. In addition and in line with his previous career, he assists clients with their data protection issues. After obtaining a master's degree in Applied Physics (MSc), Rik worked on various software consultancy jobs, varying from medical systems to documentation systems, internet publishing, and route planning systems. Before joining Hogan Lovells, Rik obtained a university degree in Dutch law (MA).
